Experience the think-on-your-feet style of battles conducted by the Border Reivers in this card game for 2 or more players. Border Reivers were the often-feuding families who lived in the lands which connect Scotland and England. Their age of influence rested between the 1300s and the 1600s AD. The only loyalties they knew were money and kin. There was no nationalism. There were no patriots. If you messed with a brother or sister, the whole family came after you. Mostly, the Reivers stole cattle, sheep, and food, but killing was often necessary for survival - and for revenge. Those who were caught by the English leaders were often executed or exiled for the headache they caused them with their feuding, killing, and pillaging.
This game focuses more on the fighting than on the trading and stealing aspects or Reiver life. Players equip Reivers and move them around a map, trying to out-maneuver their opponent and reach the opponent's home in order to finish the feud. Cross the map and successfully enter the opponent's staging area to win the match.

NOTE: Some people have mentioned that having the tartans included is not historically accurate. This is true. Clan tartans didn't come around until the 1800s. However, for the sake of being able to distinguish between decks (and because people today appreciate tartans), I have included them.

I recommend purchasing a main set plus two booster packs for your chosen Clan, giving you more resources and strategic options.
